Opening prep against anyone. Fast, private, yours.

Type in any FIDE, Chess.com or Lichess player and their repertoire is on the board before you make a move, next to the master book, Maia and Stockfish. Nothing is saved unless you say so, and what you save is only yours.

Part of PRO, €4.17 a month.

1/6Their repertoire, already loaded. You start where it matters.

Studio: six panels — Magnus Carlsen, Caruana and Nakamura from FIDE, hikaru and Firouzja from Chess.com, and the Master DB — with Maia and Stockfish below

1.2M master games, both players rated 2400 or more, whole games from the first move to the last.

What sits next to your board

Master book

Every move players rated 2400 or more have tried in this position, and how it went for them.

The player

What they actually play here. Add a FIDE, Chess.com or Lichess player, one panel each, with its own filters.

Maia

The move a 1100, a 1900 or a 2800 would most likely play here. What people do, not what the engine says.

Stockfish 18

One to five lines, for as long as you let it run. Pause it when you want to think on your own.

Their games are already there

Start a study from a player's page and their games are already loaded, or open a blank one and add players as you go. Filter the games however you like: only blitz, only the last six months, only with Black. Then play a move and each panel shows you what they do from there. You never download or import anything.

Everything you need to work a line

  • More than one board. Drag a tab onto another board to look at two positions at once. Resize a board from its corner and it stays that size.
  • Real notation. Variations, notes on any move, arrows and circles, the usual symbols (!, ?!, ±, ∞). Promote a line to main or cut it from any point.
  • PGN in, PGN out. Paste a PGN with its variations and comments, or a FEN. Copy your line back out whenever you want.
  • Up to six panels beside the board, in whatever order you put them. Drop one player onto another and they become one panel: your own Chess.com and Lichess, or a rival's two accounts.

Private by default

  • Nothing is saved until you press Save or turn on Autosave. Until then it only exists on your screen.
  • What we store is your boards, lines and notes, plus the usernames or FIDE IDs of the players you added. Not their games, and nothing about you beyond your account.
  • Only you can see it. There are no share links and no public studies. Delete your account and your studies go with it.
  • Encrypted on the way to us and in every backup.
